Scholarship Summary:
No student pays tuition at Berea. All admitted students (domestic and international) receive the No-Tuition Promise, which covers 100% of tuition costs. Students with strong academic potential and financial need are encouraged to apply. Berea is academically competitive.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Most of admitted Berea students score between 20 and 30 on the ACT (or SAT equivalent of 1050+) and have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.0 in a strong college prep curriculum. Students may take either the ACT or SAT.
Other factors are also considered such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation. In addition, the following high school curriculum are strongly recommended:
a. Four (4) units of English
b. Three (3) units of Mathematics
c. Two (2) units of Laboratory Science
d. Two (2) units of Social Science/History
e. High school transcripts and official score reports are required for the evaluation of academic qualifications.
