Scholarship Summary: 
Lindsey Wilson College offers the competitive Begley scholarship to three, high-performing, first-time freshmen (US citizens and residents only). This scholarship is renewable for three years. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and complete a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year to retain this scholarship.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and 

ii. Obtain a 24 ACT or 1160 SAT score

Value of Scholarship: 
The Begley Scholarship is a full-tuition, room & board scholarship. Beyond financial reward, the Begley Scholarship Program seeks to provide students with an unparalleled cultural enrichment experience.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;

i. The following items must be submitted to the Admissions Office no later than the above deadline:

a) A typewritten essay (one to two pages in length) on a topic chosen by the scholarship committee;

b) Three letters of reference (two from high school instructors; one from any source); and

c) Submitted Application for Admission to Lindsey Wilson College, a current high school transcript, and ACT/SAT scores.

d) Participation in Interview

Materials must be submitted via the online Begley Scholars application at the Application Portal .

ii. Attendance and participation in an interview during Scholars Day on February 7, 2026.
