Scholarship Summary: 
Newcastle University is pleased to offer partial Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships to assist international students from Bahrain, Canada, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, USA or Vietnam. to study an eligible undergraduate degree.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be considered for these awards, applicants must:
i. Be a national of one of the following countries: Bahrain, Canada, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey*, UAE, USA or Vietnam.
ii. Have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year
iii. Be assessed as international for fee purposes

* Applicants domiciled in Turkey will only be considered if they are self-funding their studies.

Value of Scholarship: 
The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is valued at £6,000 and will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account. Awards may be exhausted early in the application cycle; early programme applications are therefore encouraged.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Eligible candidates will automatically be considered for a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship as part of their academic course application.
