Scholarship Summary:
Newcastle University is pleased to offer 39 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (VCES) to outstanding international applicants from certain countries who apply to commence full-time Master’s studies.
There are 37 50% tuition fee scholarships and 2 100% tuition fee scholarships.

Value of Scholarship:
To be considered for the 50% scholarships, applicants must:
i. be domiciled in of one of the following countries: Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, the USA, Mexico, Central America or South America.
ii. be assessed as international for fee purposes
iii. hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year
iv. already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
To be considered for the 100% scholarships, applicants must:
i. be domiciled in India or Ukraine
ii. be assessed as international for fee purposes
iii. hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year
iv. already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.
Value of Scholarship:
The Postgraduate Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship is valued at 50% tuition or 100% tuition.
