Alabama A&M University offers the AAMU Merit scholarship to exceptional incoming freshmen (domestic only) based on GPA and test scores.

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:
i. Be graduating high school seniors planning to attend AAMU for an undergraduate degree

ii. Have a cumulative bachelor’s GPA of 3.25 or above.
iii. Obtain a minimum score of 23+ on the ACT test or 1130+ on the SAT test

iv. Be US citizens or legal residents of America
Value of Scholarship:
The AAMU Merit Scholarship covers the cost of tuition and is renewable for up to eight semesters.
RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.10
2. Student must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per academic year.
Note that the academic year consist of the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
