Scholarship Summary:
The Waldorf University Scholarship Day is an academic event for prospective students (US citizens and permanent residents only) who meet eligibility to compete for several scholarships including a full-tuition scholarship.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.25 (out of 4.0)
OR
i. Obtain a minimum 23 ACT/1130 SAT (with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA)
Value of Scholarship:
Participants who attend the Scholarship day could win up to the full tuition cost. Full-tuition scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at Waldorf University to maintain their scholarship.

To apply;
i Complete an admissions application; students wishing to participate in Scholarship Day must be accepted to Waldorf University one week prior to the competition date.
You will need to submit the following items to be admitted by the University;
ii. Register for the Scholarship Day to participate.

Evaluation criteria
A. ESSAY PHASE
This phase consists of writing on a topic which will be provided at the beginning of the session. The essay is timed; students will have one hour to complete their essay. They will be allowed to use a dictionary. Students should take into consideration the following while writing: overall message, sentence structure, grammar and focus of essay.
B. INTERVIEW PHASE
The interview phase consists of a two-person panel of Waldorf faculty and staff who will visit with each student. A range of questions will be considered, gearing toward the student's experiences academically, in the community and their chosen activities, groups or organizations. Students are encouraged to consider presentation, sentence structure, body language and appearance.
