Scholarship Summary:
The Wartburg Freshman Scholarships are available to students (domestic and international) with academic potential who meet the admission requirements. Amounts are determined by academic achievement and communicated in your acceptance letter.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To qualify, students must;
Domestic Students
i. Be admitted into Wartburg for undergraduate study
International Students
i. Meet admission requirements and have a TOEFL score of at least 480.
Value of Scholarship:
The Wartburg College Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;

The Wartburg College Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Opportunity Scholarship: $7,000 - $9,000 per year (For domestic students who meet the admission requirements, but do not qualify for a Presidential or Regents Scholarship)
ii. International Scholarship: range from $6,000-$16,500 per academic year
iii. Knights Out-of-State Grant: $1,000/year in addition to the Opportunity Scholarship (For domestic students residing outside Iowa who demonstrate academic potential)
iv. Wartburg College Sister States Scholarship: $4,000/year in addition to the International Scholarship (For students from the following cities: Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan | Yucatán, Mexico | Hebei Province, China | Terengganu, Malaysia | Stavropol Krai, Russia | Taiwan | Cherkasy Oblast, Ukraine | Veneto Region, Italy | Kosovo)
