Scholarship Summary:
Wartburg evaluates and awards merit based scholarships on a combination of a student’s (US citizens and residents only) high school grade point average, class rank, and ACT/SAT score.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0).
ii. Rank in the top 25% of their high school class.
Value of Scholarship:
The Regents and Presidential Scholarships range from $9,000 – $11,000 annually and are renewable for a maximum of eight terms contingent upon full time enrollment and the maintenance of at least a 2.7 cumulative grade point average.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply,
i. Apply for admission and be accepted into Wartburg by the above deadline. Students who meet the above eligibility criteria will receive a Regents or Presidential Scholarship.
ii. Students who qualify and choose to participate in the Scholarship Day will have the opportunity to increase their Regents or Presidential Scholarship.
iii. For students who qualify and choose to participate in one of Wartburg’s Knights Scholarship Days, they will receive the Scholarship Day Attendance Award of $1,500/year.
iv. All students who participate in the Scholarship programs must file a FAFSA form by March 1, to determine if they qualify for need-based aid from the state and federal government.
