Scholarship Summary: 
University of Mississippi offers the academic merit scholarship to high performing domestic freshman with exceptional academic credentials.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;

i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0

ii. Obtain a minimum 23 ACT score for Mississippi residents or 25 ACT score for non-residents (or the SAT/SAT-R equivalent).

Value of Scholarship: 
The Academic Merit Scholarship varies and is dependent on residency status;
i. For Mississippi residents, the scholarship is valued from $1,000 - $13,252
ii. For non-residents, the scholarship is valued from $3,500 - $26,820

Please note the following;

• At the 32 and 33+ ACT levels, the non-resident scholarship will be set to the value of the non-resident fee in Year One and capped at that amount for all undergraduates (including Pharmacy) for the life of the scholarship.
• Similarly, at the 33+ ACT level, the scholarship stipend will be set to the value of tuition in Year One and capped at that amount for all undergraduates (including Pharmacy) for the life of the scholarship.)
• Mississippi residents who earn at least a 3.5 high school GPA and 23 ACT score (or the SAT/SAT-R equivalent) are eligible for the additional 1848 scholarship. These award amounts are included on the Mississippi Residents chart.
