Scholarship Summary:
NCWU offers academic merit scholarships to exceptional incoming domestic freshmen applicants with outstanding academic credentials.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Earn a minimum high school GPA of 2.3 (out of 4.0)
ii. Obtain a minimum cumulative SAT score of 700 or a minimum ACT score of 13
iii. Complete a FAFSA application
Value of Scholarship:
The Academic Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. President's Scholarship: $20,000/year {Required: Minimum 3.30 weighted GPA and 1080 SAT/21 ACT}
ii. Dean's Scholarship: $18,000/year {Required: Minimum 3.0 weighted GPA and 980 SAT/19 ACT}
iii. Wesleyan Scholarship: $15,000/year {Required: Minimum 2.5 weighted GPA and 900 SAT/17 ACT}
iv. Bishop Opportunity Scholarship: $10,000/year {Required: Minimum 2.3 weighted GPA and 700 SAT/13 ACT}
