Aston University will be offering three (3) Ferguson Scholarships to students from Africa and India for the 2025/26 academic year. These scholarships are supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust which is dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to consider study in the UK.

- MSc Drug Delivery
- MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
- MSc Pharmacokinetics
- MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
- MSc Psychology (Conversion programme)
- MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery
- MSc Addiction and Mental Health
- MSc Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine
- MRes Neuropharmacology
- MRes Biosciences
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the above courses
ii. Ba national from India or an African country
iii. Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for
iv. Be a self-funded student
v. Provide a strong personal statement when submitting your course application.

Value of Scholarship:
Each candidate can look to receive full tuition cover (value of £22,500) with £6,000 additional contribution towards living costs
If successful, note you will be required to provide evidence to the UKVI that you can fully contribute to your living costs.

If you wish to be considered for this scholarship and you meet the above eligibility criteria, you will need to;
