Edinburgh Napier University has partial scholarships for self-funding students from Africa or the Middle East, starting a course at Edinburgh Napier in September 2025 or January 2026.

In order to be eligible for this award, you must;
i. Be domiciled in an eligible country at the time of application

- West Africa: Ghana or Nigeria
- Sub-Saharan Africa
- Middle East and Northern Africa: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates
iii. Meet the entry criteria for a bachelors or 1-year masters course in September 2025 or January 2026
You are not eligible if you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship.

The scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are worth as follows;
i. West Africa: Between £1,000 and £2,000
ii. Sub-Saharan Africa: £2,000
iii. Middle East and Northern Africa: £2,000
Please note that the number of scholarships is limited, so apply early. The scholarship is tenable for one year only.

There is no additional application process for this scholarship; simply apply for admission into a bachelor's or master's course and meet the eligibility criteria above.
Scholarships are awarded automatically once you have paid your £6,000 deposit payment towards your tuition fees.
