Scholarship Summary:
WWU offers many scholarships to entering, first-time freshmen (domestic and international). These scholarships are awarded to students for academic excellence, student leadership, and other accomplishments.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
OR
ii. Earn a minimum SAT score of 1150
OR
iii. Earn a minimum ACT score of 23
Value of Scholarship:
The Walla Walla Achievement Scholarships are valued as follows;
A. Achievement Scholarship (For domestic students)
1. $15,000: 3.9-4.0 GPA/31+ ACT/1440+ SAT
2. $13,000: 3.75-3.89 GPA/29-30 ACT/1360-1430 SAT
3. $11,000: 3.50-3.74 GPA/25-28 ACT/1220-1350 SAT
4. $10,000: 3.25-3.49 GPA/24 ACT/1190-1210 SAT
5. $9,000: 3.00-3.24 GPA/23 ACT/1150-1180 SAT
B. Out-of-State Grant
1. Out-of-Area Grant for domestic students who live outside of Oregon or Washington ($2,500 per year, renewable)C. Canadian/International Student Scholarships
1. Yes You Can, Canada! Scholarship for new freshmen or new transfer students from Canada (cannot be a U.S. citizen) ($8,000, renewable, scholarship amount will be reviewed annually to accommodate the USD/CAD exchange rate).2. International Student Scholarship (cannot be a U.S. or Canadian citizen) for students who have an F-1 Visa (At least $18,500, renewable)
