The University of Liverpool is delighted to offer a host of merit scholarships to students from Hong Kong or mainland China, looking to undertake a postgraduate research degree starting September 2023. These scholarships are funded by private donors and awarded annually to students from Hong Kong who can prove academic excellence and have been admitted to pursue full-time studies at the University of Liverpool.

i. Be a citizen of Hong Kong or mainland China
ii. Have made an application to study a postgraduate taught master's or research degree at the University of Liverpool’s main campus.

1. University of Liverpool Graduate Association Hong Kong Postgraduate Scholarship
The University of Liverpool Graduate Association Hong Kong postgraduate scholarships are worth up to £5,000 or up to £10,000 and are awarded to students originating from Hong Kong and mainland China who can prove academic excellence and have been admitted to pursue full-time studies at the University of Liverpool.
2. The Tung Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship
The Tung Foundation postgraduate scholarships is worth £10,000 and is awarded annually to students originating from Hong Kong and mainland China who can prove academic excellence and have been admitted to pursue full-time studies at the University of Liverpool.
