The Loughborough University Bursary provides UK undergraduates with additional financial support depending on household income. This scholarship is not available to students from Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

To be eligible for consideration for the Loughborough University Bursary, you must have;
i. Applied for a means tested loan via the Student Loans Company and fall within a qualifying household income band of £25,000 and under.

Please note your sponsors (usually your parents) must give their consent to share their financial information with the University in order for you to be considered for the award.

The Loughborough University Bursary is valued as follows;
i. For Foundation year: £1,200 bursary/£2,000 tuition fee waiver
ii. For Year 1: £1,200 bursary
iii. For Year 2: £1,200 bursary
iv. For Placement year: £500 placement start-up grant
v. For Year 3: £1,200 bursary
vi. For Integrated Masters: £1,200 bursary
The money will go directly into the bank account you provided to the Student Loans Company. This payment will be staggered across the three terms in instalments.

To apply;
i. You do not need to make a separate application to the University (asides the admission application) in order to be considered for the Loughborough University Bursary. However, you will need to have made an application to the relevant student finance award agency.
ii. Your eligibility for the Loughborough University Bursary will automatically be reviewed each year of your course, as long as make an application to the relevant awards agency each year, and you and your sponsors give consent to share information with the University.
