Scholarship Summary: 

Northumbria University is delighted to offer the Northumbria Postgraduate International Scholarship to eligible international postgraduate students joining in September 2025.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

To be eligible for the Northumbria Postgraduate International Scholarship, you must;
i. Be an international student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
ii. Be domiciled in Bahrain, Turkey, Ghana, Malaysia, USA, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Brunei, Philippines
iii. Be accepted and enrolled on a full-time postgraduate taught course, at the Newcastle upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2025 or January 2026
iv. Meet all individual course requirements

Value of Scholarship: 

The Northumbria Postgraduate International Scholarship provides a £3,000 fee discount to every recipient.

Other Nationals 

1. Nigerian Postgraduates are eligible for a £6,000 scholarship
2. South Asian Postgraduates are eligible for a £3,000 scholarship

Scholarship Application Guide: 

The Northumbria Postgraduate International Scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount, so you do not need to make a separate application
