Royal Holloway is awarding three Bedford Society Scholarships to new full-time or part-time students with Home or International fee status who are studying for a degree within one of the academic departments listed below.

To be eligible;
i. Applicant must have achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent.
ii. Applicant must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a Master's course within one of the following departments:

ii. Applicant must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a Master's course within one of the following departments:
- Department of Classics
- Department of Earth Sciences
- Department of Economics
- Department of English
- Department of Geography
- Department of Health Studies

- Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures
- Department of Law and Criminology
- Department of Mathematics
- Department of Physics
- Department of Politics, International Relations and Philosophy
- Department of Psychology
- Department of Social Work
The Bedford Society Scholarship is offered as a £8,100 tuition fee reduction.

To apply for this scholarship,
i. You must apply via Royal Holloway Direct where you will be able to complete your statement and upload any required documents including your grades transcript;

- Academic achievements you are particularly proud of and why these really matter to you.
- Why you have chosen to do the degree you have applied for.
- What your future aspirations are and how the scholarship will help you to achieve your future goals
- Demonstration of an enthusiastic and authentic spirit of enquiry and clear indication of how this scholarship would help you share and advance knowledge of future generations.
b. As well as your statement, you will need to upload your most recent grades transcript from your undergraduate degree. Any applications that are submitted without an uploaded transcript will be rejected.
