Scholarship Summary:
St. Mary’s University is pleased to offer scholarships to high-achieving international students who will be undertaking postgraduate courses in the University. These scholarships are awarded based on academic merit. Please note that there is a limited number of scholarships. The scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and therefore candidates who apply for their programme of study early may have a greater opportunity of success.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must;
i. Have been assessed as International fee payers, including British passport holders
ii. Have applied to study full-time on campus for 2023/24 entry
Value of Scholarship:
The St Mary’s International Postgraduate Scholarship are valued as follows;
i. International Country Scholarship gives a £1,000 tuition fee discount in the first year of postgraduate study to offer-holders ordinarily resident in countries the OECD designates as receiving official development assistance.
ii. International Excellence Scholarship gives selected students a £2,000 tuition fee discount for an MA or MSc and a £1,500 tuition fee discount for a PGCE.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Applicants do not need to make a separate scholarship application and will be considered automatically for a scholarship after being made an offer of study. A panel will assess offer holders based on candidates’ prior academic achievement and overall application for their programme of study.
Only offer holders who are successful in securing a scholarship will be notified within six weeks of receiving their offer of study.
