Scholarship Summary:
The Sussex Country Scholarship is for applicants who are nationals of certain countries, are classed as 'Overseas' for fees purposes and have been accepted to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex.
Eligible countries include:
i. India
ii. Bangladesh
iii. Turkey
iv. Nigeria
v. Pakistan
vi. Egypt
vii. Vietnam
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
i. be a national of one of the following eligible countries; India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Nigeria, Pakistan, Vietnam or Egypt
ii. be classified as overseas for fee purposes
iii. be a self-financing student
iv. have accepted an offer to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex in September 2024
Value of Scholarship:
The Sussex Country Master’s Scholarship is worth £4,000 and is a tuition fee reduction.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply,
i. Register your interest in the scholarship through the postgraduate application system (PG Apply) when you accept an offer of a place on an eligible Masters course. If you applied through one of the Sussex overseas representatives, you will need to ask them to do this for you.
ii. You must declare your interest in the scholarship via PG Apply before you register on your Masters degree. Information about the scholarship will be included in your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study) for your visa application, when it is produced. If the scholarship information is not showing on your CAS or you want to register for the scholarship after the CAS has been created, please contact the Admissions Office: pg.applicants@sussex.ac.uk.
