Scholarship Summary:
Swansea University is offering merit scholarships to eligible new full-time UK students applying for undergraduate courses at Swansea University.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship,
i. You must be a UK student and achieve AAA (Excellence) or AAB (Merit) at A-Level or equivalent (excluding A-level General Studies).
Value of Scholarship:
The Swansea Academic Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. Excellence Scholarship: £3,000 will be awarded to all students who achieve AAA at A-Level (or equivalent) This amount will be paid in three equal instalments - with £1,000 paid in the first year, £1,000 paid in the second year and £1,000 paid in the third year.
ii. Merit Scholarship: £2,000 will be awarded to all students who achieve AAB at A-Level (or equivalent). This amount will be paid in three equal instalments - with £670 paid in the first year, £670 paid in the second year and £670 paid in the third year).
Students will need to meet the 60% progression requirement at the end of the first and second year in order to receive their second and third instalments.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Any UK student who applies and achieves AAA (Excellence) or AAB (Merit) at A-Level or equivalent (excluding A-level General Studies) will automatically be awarded a scholarship.
