Scholarship Summary:
The University of Stirling has a long history of supporting international students and is awarding the Postgraduate International Scholarship to full time, on-campus, self-funding applicants who are classed as overseas students for tuition fee purposes and are from the following countries;
i. East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, South Korea or Taiwan)
ii. Ghana
iii. India
iv. Indonesia
v. Nigeria
vi. Pakistan
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply, you need to meet the following criteria:
i. You must have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admissions for an eligible postgraduate taught course at the University of Stirling starting in September 2024 or January 2025.
Value of Scholarship:
The Postgraduate International Scholarship is valued as a £4,000 or £7,000 tuition fee waiver.
To be eligible to apply, you need to meet the following criteria:
i. You must have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admissions for an eligible postgraduate taught course at the University of Stirling starting in September 2024 or January 2025.
ii. You must be classed as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
iii. You must be a national of one of the countries listed above or living in one of the countries at the point of application.
iv. This award is only available to students entering directly into a full-time postgraduate degree programme, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus.
v. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Stirling scholarship or award. If offered more than one University of Stirling award then the highest value award will be applied.

The Postgraduate International Scholarship is valued as a £4,000 or £7,000 tuition fee waiver.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Students will automatically be identified as part as the admissions process. No separate application is required for this award.
