Scholarship Summary: 
Michigan Tech's National Scholars Program rewards academically talented non-resident students who leave their home states to pursue a world-class education at Michigan Tech. All non-Michigan US residents accepted for admission are automatically considered for this scholarship.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be Michigan non-residents from the United States 
ii. Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.75
iii. Have a minimum ACT score of 30+ or minimum SAT score of 1370+

Students without official scores will be also considered for awards based on GPA only but applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.35

Value of Scholarship: 
The National Scholars Award range from $10,000 - $17,000 per year based on your cumulative high school GPA and/or SAT/ACT score. These rewards are renewable for four years (eight semesters) of study.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Apply for admission into MTU; no separate application is required.

Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher (based on full-time enrollment in Michigan Tech courses only) at the end of each spring semester to retain the award for the following academic year. Students must live in the University's residence halls for their first and second academic years to maintain this scholarship.
