Scholarship Summary: 
Boise State University is awarding merit scholarships to eligible Idaho non-residents who are admitted into the University as degree-seeking undergraduate students. Non-resident freshmen will be automatically considered for these scholarships by completing the admissions application and meeting the eligibility criteria. A complete application includes the admissions application AND transcript(s).

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
In order to be eligible, students must;
For non-resident domestic students
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.10
ii. Must have declared an eligible major

For WUE domestic students
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.50
ii. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and have a permanent residence within one of the following participating states/U.S. territories: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Guam, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI), Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Federal States of Micronesia.

Value of Scholarship: 
The Boise Idaho Non-Resident Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. The Ridgeline Scholarship is valued as $5,000 annually for up to four years 
{Required: 3.10-3.29 unweighted HS GPA}.

ii. The Summit Scholarship is valued as $10,000 annually for up to four years {Required: 3.30-4.0 unweighted HS GPA}.

iii. The Western Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship is valued as approximately $15,680 annually for up to four years {Required: 3.50-4.0 unweighted HS GPA}.

iv. The Western Undergraduate Exchange (Nursing) Scholarship is valued as approximately $15,680 annually for up to four years {Required: 3.90-4.0 unweighted HS GPA}.
