Scholarship Summary:
The Texas State Assured Scholarships are guaranteed to all qualified freshmen students (domestic and international) provided you are admitted to Texas State as a first-time incoming freshman and meet the minimum scholarship qualifications prior to your first semester (fall or spring).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum SAT score of 1160 or minimum ACT score of 24
ii. Rank in the top 25% of their high school class.
Value of Scholarship:
The Texas State Assured Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. President Honor’s Scholarship: $12,000 annually {Min: 1420+ SAT OR 32+ ACT AND Top 25%}
ii. Texas State Achievement Scholarship: $6,000 - $8,000 annually {Min: 1160 SAT OR 24 ACT AND Top 25%}
iii. Texas State Distinguished Scholarship: $4,000 - $5,000 annually {Min: 1160+ SAT OR 24+ ACT AND Top 26-35%}
These scholarships are renewable for up to four years (or eight continuous semesters) based upon required academic performance.

Note: If you are a nonresident or international receiving an Assured Scholarship, you may also qualify to pay the in-state tuition rate for the same period covered by your scholarship.
