The UA Office of Academic Scholarships uses a holistic process to award merit scholarships to domestic freshmen. In addition to test scores, high school grade point average, and the written scholarship application, other information, including but not limited to first-generation college student status, financial need, legacy status, and underrepresented community status may also be considered. Applications will be considered for the following scholarships, but selected students will not be awarded more than one scholarship.

There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 50% of the applicant pool.

Value of Scholarship:
The University of Arkansas Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as from $2,000 to $10,000 annually.

i. Complete an admissions application, submit transcripts, and send test scores to the office of admissions by January 15th (final).
