Scholarship Summary: 
Memorial University offers its international undergraduate students, opportunities to receive scholarships and awards. International entrance scholarships are awarded for a students' first year of study and are non-renewable.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for these scholarships, a student must;
i. Be eligible to pay the full international undergraduate fee 
ii. Register for at least 9 credit hours in each of two semesters in their first academic year at Memorial University of Newfoundland
iii. Have an early admission average of 90% or higher (although the cut-off average could be lower).

Value of Scholarship: 
The Memorial University International Entrance Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. The Memorial University of Newfoundland International Entrance Scholarship is valued as up to CAD$6,000 {available to applicants from both the St. John's and Grenfell campuses}
ii. IUGS Entrance Scholarship for Undergraduate Students is valued at CAD$6,000 {non-renewable, available to applicants from the St. John's campus only}
iii. Killam American Undergraduate Scholarship varies in amount {For citizens of the United States only}
iv. Don and Mona Dooley (OLOF) Thailand Scholarship varies in amount {For a student from Thailand or Southeast Asia}
v. Fortis Inc. – H. Stanley Marshall Scholarship: varies in amount {recipients must be from (in order of preference) Belize, the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Cayman Islands, or other Caribbean country}
vi. Shona Perry-Maidment Entrance Award: varies in amount {recipients must have graduated from a high school in Africa, preferably Zimbabwe}
vi. Convera Scholarship: varies in amount, renewable for three years 

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Once you have applied to Memorial University, you will automatically be considered for an entrance scholarship (if you meet the eligibility criteria).  That means, no additional application is necessary.
