Scholarship Summary:
SMWC is awarding Freshmen Merit Scholarships to full-time, campus undergraduate students (domestic and international) who will be attending in fall. The scholarship amounts awarded are determined by high school GPA and test scores at the time of admission.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be entering for undergraduate study at SMWC
ii. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
Value of Scholarship:
The SMWC Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Trustee Scholarship: up to $12,500 (4.0+ GPA)
ii. Presidential Scholarship: up to $10,500 (3.5-3.99 GPA)
iii. Dean’s Scholarship: up to $8,000 (3.0-3.49 GPA)
Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA (Trustee & Presidential), 2.5 GPA for (Dean) and make satisfactory academic progress towards their degree to renew the scholarship for up to 8 semesters.
