Scholarship Summary:
SMWC is awarding the Catholic Faith Scholarship to incoming freshmen students (domestic and international) who self-identify “religion” as Catholic on their application and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
ii. Be full-time, degree-seeking campus students,
iii. Attend a Catholic Church or high school (verification is required)
Value of Scholarship:
The SMWC Catholic Faith Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. Tier I Scholarship: up to $20,000 {Students are required to live on campus to receive this level}.
ii. Tier II Scholarship: up to $16,000 {Students are not required to live on campus to receive this level}.
Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and make satisfactory academic progress towards their degree to renew the award for up to 8 semesters. This award cannot be combined with other SMWC awards and can be reduced or replaced by federal, state or outside award offers.
