Scholarship Summary:
The Gerald Schwartz School of Business at StFX is offering several merit scholarships to 1st-year, full-time undergraduate BBA students (Canadian and International) who are well-rounded and demonstrate leadership qualities both inside and outside of the classroom.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum 85% average in their high school records (eligibility is determined based on five grade 12 university preparatory level courses).
ii. Have demonstrated StFX qualities of leadership and service to community.
Value of Scholarship:
The Gerald Schwartz Business School Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
For Canadian undergraduates
i. Business Order of Merit Awards - CAD$30,000 (CAD$7,500/yr renewable for 4 yrs) {Number available: 6, Min average requirement: 90%}
ii. Heather Reisman Women in Business Scholars - CAD$30,000 (CAD$7,500/yr renewable for 4 yrs) {Number available: 2 for female students, Min average requirement: 90%}
iii. Schwartz Business Scholars of Distinction - CAD$16,000 (CAD$4,000/yr renewable for 4 yrs) {Number available: 14, Min average requirement: 85%}
For International Students
i. Schwartz School of Business International Scholars - CAD$32,000 (CAD$8,000/yr renewable for 4 yrs) {Number available: 14, Min average requirement: 85%}

2. Applicants must complete and submit a StFX Major or Separate Application Based scholarship application by March 1 AST.
3. Applicants must ensure two (2) StFX Major Scholarship reference forms are completed and submitted by March 1 AST. References automatically receive an email providing them with the information they need. If they misplace the URL to the reference form, they can click here to access it.
4. Applicants must submit their first-semester grade 12 transcript(s) by March 1 AST.
