The University of Louisville offers a range of scholarships to domestic and international freshman students based primarily on a student’s grades, high school curriculum and a student-involvement resume.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration
For Kentucky and Southern Indiana residents
i. Obtain a minimum of 26 ACT or 1230 SAT and 3.5 weighted GPA
For non-residents
i. Obtain a minimum 3.0 weighted GPA
For international students
i. Obtain a minimum 3.25 weighted GPA
Value of Scholarship:
The ULouisville Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. For Kentucky and Southern Indiana residents, scholarship amounts range from $2,500 – $8,000
ii. For non-residents, scholarship Valued up to $16,000 depending on the applicant’s state (some out-of-state residents get in-state tuition waivers in addition)
ii. For international students, scholarship amounts range from $5,000 - $8,000
