Scholarship Summary:
UIU offers several scholarships of increasing amounts to incoming international freshmen students based on their grade point average (GPA). Prospective students are automatically considered for scholarships at the time of their admission.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 40% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The UIU International Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. International Trustee Scholarship: $4,000/year {HS GPA: 3.5 - 4.0}
ii. International Presidential Scholarship: $2,500/year {HS GPA: 3.0 - 3.49}
iii. International Dean’s Scholarship: $1,000 /year {HS GPA: 2.5 - 2.99}
iv. International Achievement Scholarship: $500/year {HS GPA: 2.0 - 2.49}
Students must maintain academic eligibility standards set forth by UIU to retain a scholarship.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no need to apply for the above scholarships; students automatically are eligible if they meet specific criteria upon admission.
