Scholarship Summary:
The University of Windsor is proud to offer a competitive funding program for graduate students (Canadian and international) that reward academic excellence. Scholarships will be awarded based upon the recommendation of the applicant’s program.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be admitted into a research-based program with an admission average of at least 80% or its equivalent.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Windsor Graduate Entrance Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Doctoral Entrance Award: CAD$30,000 (CAD$2,500 × 12 terms)
ii. Masters Research Entrance Award: CAD$7,500 (CAD$2,500 × 3 terms)
Scholarship Application Guide:
To be considered for an entrance scholarship,
i. Applicants must submit the full application package for admission into the academic program by the individual program's application deadline or the entrance scholarship deadline (May 1st).
ii. Each departmental decision/recommendation must be received at the Faculty of Graduate Studies by June 1st.
