Applications for this scholarship will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Scholarship Summary:
All students (domestic and international) are automatically considered for academic scholarships based on their application for admission and supporting documents. Students will be notified of any scholarship awards at the same time they are notified of their admission decision.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (weighted)
Value of Scholarship:
The Valparaiso Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
Domestic
i. Board of Directors Scholarship: $31,000 per year {Required GPA: >4.20}
ii. Presidential Scholarship: $26,000 - $29,000 per year {Required GPA: 3.40 - 4.19}
iii. Beacon Scholarship: $25,000 per year {Required GPA: 3.0 - 3.39}
International
i. International Excellence Scholarship: $18,000 – $25,000/year
ii. International On-Campus Housing Grant: Amount varies
Freshman scholarships are renewable up to four years.
