Scholarship Summary:
High school applicants who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and entering an undergraduate program (excluding Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technology, and others intending to pursue veterinary studies) are eligible for the Harrison McCain scholarship available at Dalhousie University.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Criteria for the awards include;
- High school applicants who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and entering an undergraduate program (excluding Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technology, and others intending to pursue veterinary studies).
- A minimum 80% average in the senior year of high school,
- Financial need,
- Leadership qualities, and
- A recognized initiative in funding your own education.
Value of Scholarship:
The Dalhousie Harrison McCain Scholarship is valued as CAD$16,000.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
• Apply to an undergraduate program at Dalhousie
• Submit the online application, and upload the parental consent form available within the online application
• Pay the $70 CAD admissions application fee
• Submit your official first semester transcript or, for Nova Scotia and Ontario applicants, your provincial student ID number. all documents must be sent to the Registrar’s Office; transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution.
All required documentation must be postmarked by March 1.
