Scholarship Summary:
Emerson awards merit scholarships to incoming freshmen students (domestic and international) who have set themselves apart within Emerson's applicant pool through demonstrated distinctive academic success as well as qualities such as leadership, creativity, community engagement, and other factors important to success as an Emerson student.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 40% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Emerson Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Aspire Scholarship: $10,000 - $40,000/year
ii. Trailblazer Scholarship: $15,000/year
iii. Visionary Scholarship - $10,000/year
iv. Pioneer Scholarship - $8,000/year
v. Spotlight Scholarship - $6,000
vi. Expression Scholarship - $5,000/year
vii. Alliance Scholarship - $10,000 annually {given to incoming students who are enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) major and who have demonstrated academic success within their school communities as well as qualities such as leadership, community engagement and other factors important to success as an Emerson student}
viii. Creative Circle Scholarship: Full cost of attendance annually {given to ECCS scholars who have demonstrated significant academic success within their school communities and shown leadership, commitment to community engagement and other factors important to success}
