Scholarship Summary:
Hood College's merit scholarship program recognizes the achievement, talent and potential of students. Awards are based upon their achievement in the classroom, their ability to think analytically, their talent and creativity within their areas of interest and the potential for success they bring Hood College. All students (domestic and international) applying for admission to Hood College will be considered for these scholarships.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 45% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Hood Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Trustee Scholarship: $30,000 per year
ii. Presidential Scholarship: $28,000 per year
iii. Dean Scholarship: $24,000 per year
iv. Leadership Award: $20,000 per year
v. Achievement Award: $15,000 per year
