Scholarship Summary:
University of Louisiana at Lafayette is awarding freshman scholarships to first-time domestic undergraduate students entering in fall.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, you must;
i. Have a minimum HS GPA of 3.0
ii. Have a minimum ACT score of 23 or SAT score of 1130
iii. Have U.S. citizenship
iv. Be regularly admitted to the University
Value of Scholarship:
The UL Lafayette Freshman Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Live Oak Scholarship: $1,500/semester, $5,749/semester for housing and meal plan in a shared suite-style unit and a campus work-study job {Minimum GPA of 3.0 and ACT 32+/SAT 1420+}
ii. Magnolia Scholarship: $1,400/semester and $2,653/semester to cover a portion of housing in a shared suite-style unit {Minimum GPA of 3.0 and ACT 28-31/ SAT 1300-1410}
iii. Cypress Scholarship: $1,300/semester {Minimum GPA of 3.0 and ACT 23-27/ SAT 1130-1290}
In addition to the above, students may qualify for the following;
i. Out of State Fee Waiver: $6,864/semester {Minimum GPA of 2.5 and ACT 20+/ SAT 1030+}
ii. Dr Ray P. Authement Valedictorian Scholarship: $1,000 for freshman year only {High school Valedictorian}
iii. Jefferson Caffery Scholarship: $500/semester {for National Merit Finalists or Semi-finalists}
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application, simply apply for admission to be considered for a scholarship.
- Students must meet all requirements by May 31st of their graduating year.
