i. Be admitted for undergraduate study at Williams
ii. Demonstrate significant financial need

Value of Scholarship:
The Williams Financial Aid varies from student to student but it could reach up to the full cost of undergraduate study.

Scholarship Application Guide:
All admitted students are considered for financial aid upon submission of the following;
i. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) {code: 002229} - The FAFSA is a government application that helps Williams determine your need.
  • The FAFSA is not an initial requirement for the 2025-2026 academic year, given the uncertainty of the FAFSA Simplification Act application timeline. Williams will reach out to enrolled students with additional requirements.
ii. The CSS Profile {code: 3965} - The CSS Profile gives Williams the information needed to calculate your financial need. It's required for any student who wants to be considered for non-federal aid.

iii. Documentation - Submit the following documentation to the College Board’s Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC);
  • 2025-2026 verification statement: Download the fillable form from the IDOC website, print, complete, and physically sign it before uploading to IDOC.
  • 2023 federal tax returns for the student: Include all schedules and W-2 forms. If you didn't file 2023 taxes, submit a 2023 Non-Tax Filer’s Statement, which can be found on the IDOC website.
  • 2023 federal tax returns for custodial parents: Include all schedules, statements and W-2 forms.
