Scholarship Summary:
The Colburn and Mitton Housing Campus Scholarships are for eligible Campus Housing applicants (Canadian citizens and permanent residents) who provide evidence of local church and community engagement within their high school years. Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain their local church and community engagement while receiving the scholarship.
There is no limit on the number of these scholarships awarded in a given year, as long as space remains in Campus Housing.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
In order to be eligible to receive one of these awards, you must:
1. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent residence
2. Have a minimum admission average of 80%
3. Provide evidence of local church and community engagement within their high school years
Value of Scholarship:
The Crandall Housing Campus Scholarships are valued as follows;
a. Colburn Housing Campus Scholarships
i. Admission average of 95 – 100%: CAD$1,500
ii. Admission average of 90 – 94.9%: CAD$1,250
iii. Admission average of 85 – 89.9%: CAD$1,000
iv. Admission average of 80 – 84.9%: CAD$500
These scholarships are renewable, at their amount, in the second, third, and fourth years of full-time study if the student maintains the required Grade Point Average (GPA).
b. Mitton Scholarship
Following the completion of their second year, Colburne House Scholarship recipients may apply to live in Mitton Court. Successful applicants voluntarily surrender their Colburne House Scholarship and transfer to Mitton Court with the assistance of a newly-awarded Mitton Scholarship. The initially-awarded Colburne House Scholarship amounts for successful applicants will be adjusted to:
i. Year 3 – 75% of the initial award
ii. Year 4 – 85% of the initial award

i. Complete an application for admission into Crandall
ii. Complete the application for financial awards and ensure to attach your letter of application highlighting service involvement.
Important Instructions for students using the online Application for Financial Awards for the first time:
- When you arrive on the page that asks you to provide a user name and password please select New User Registration under the Login Button.
- On the New User Registration page please fill out the required information. You will be required to create your own User ID, and
- Once you submit the New User Registration please follow online instructions for the Application for Financial Awards.
