Scholarship Summary:
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Goldsmiths, University of London is offering 4 scholarships to students in Mexico, Pakistan and Turkey applying for eligible postgraduate-taught courses. Successful candidates will be selected on a competitive basis.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must:
i. Be passport holders of the United Mexican States, the Republic of Turkey, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, respectively.
ii. Have accepted an offer of a place to study for one of the September 2024 entry-taught postgraduate courses at Goldsmiths
iii. In addition, awards will be based on a combination of academic merit and the information given on the application form.
Value of Scholarship:
The GREAT Scholarships are worth £10,000 each as a fee waiver.
The scholarships will be awarded per country:
- One award for a student from Mexico
- One award for a student from Pakistan
- One award for a student from Turkey

To apply,
1. Apply to Goldsmiths for an eligible Postgraduate Course of Study
Complete the application process for your chosen course of study. This will usually require an interview and the submission of a statement with your application to Goldsmiths – this statement should address why you should be accepted onto your chosen course, and particularly your academic suitability for the course. The decision-making process for admission to a course of study at Goldsmiths will be independent of the scholarship application.
2. Complete online application form
To be considered for this funding opportunity, please complete the online application form. You will be asked to describe in no more than 500 words why you feel you should be awarded this partial fee waiver and how your chosen programme would help you with your future career.

3. Selection process
Successful candidates will be selected on a competitive basis. It is planned that successful candidates will be contacted via email before the end of June 2024.
