Scholarship Summary:
For programmes commencing in 2025/26, the University of Lincoln is delighted to offer Country Scholarships to prospective postgraduate applicants who are a national of, or have permanent residence in one of the following countries or regions; China, Egypt, European Union, South Asia, South East Asia, Turkey and USA.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
In order to be eligible to receive the Country Scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:
• Be a national of, or have permanent residence in one of the following countries or regions; China, Egypt, European Union, South Asia, South East Asia, Turkey and USA
• Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2025 or January 2026.
• Have completed a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent qualification that leads to postgraduate study) from a recognised institution, and have obtained a minimum of a 2:1/2:2 classification (or an equivalent).
Value of Scholarship:
The Country Postgraduate Scholarship is valued as follows;
China, Egypt, Southeast Asia & Turkey
1) A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
- b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
2) A £4,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
- b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
European Union & USA
1) A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
- b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
South Asia
1) A £3,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
- b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
2) A £1,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
- b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
