Scholarship Summary:
The GREAT scholarships are offered in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Scholarships 2024 Campaign. They are exclusively for students domiciled in India, Pakistan, or Thailand, starting a full-time postgraduate taught course in September 2024.
There is also one GREAT Scholarship for Justice and Law exclusively available for students domiciled in Nigeria, starting one of the eligible full-time postgraduate taught courses in September 2024.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships, you must;
For GREAT Scholarship
• be domiciled in India, Pakistan, or Thailand
• have accepted an offer for a full-time taught postgraduate course starting in September 2024 at Sheffield Hallam University.
• have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your undergraduate honours degree and must meet the English language proficiency and academic entry requirements for your chosen course.
• be an international fee-paying student who is fully self-financing your studies. This means that you are not receiving any funding for your studies from an external source such as a government, a scholarship provider, a company or an employer
• be able to pay the remainder of your tuition fee and any additional fees your course may require, for example field trips.
For the GREAT Scholarships for justice and law
• be domiciled in Nigeria

Value of Scholarship:
The GREAT scholarships provide a £10,000 tuition fee waiver for the first year of study on postgraduate taught courses. One scholarship is available for each of these countries.

To apply, please complete the required form;
i. GREAT Scholarship application form by the deadline
- You must be able to evidence the level of academic achievement stated on your scholarship application by submitting a transcript or certificate stating your final result (including percentage/GPA/CGPA) by the scholarship closing date.
- You must provide your eight-digit Student Identifier (SI) number on the online scholarship application form. This is given to you by the University when your course application has been processed.
