Scholarship Summary:
The University of Reading is awarding Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships to top-performing international undergraduate students. 100 Scholarships will be offered for 2024 entrance to the University and will be allocated to countries (find allocation quota in the scholarship link below).

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for the Scholarship, candidates must: 
i. Apply for and be admitted to a University of Reading undergraduate programme (including Integrated Foundation Year and M level qualifications but excluding Degree Apprenticeship study) commencing in the academic year 2024/25.
ii. Demonstrate to the University outstanding academic achievement. 
iii. Not already be in receipt of a full tuition fee scholarship 
iv. Be classified by the University as an international student for fees purposes. 
v. Have completed all the appropriate degree course admission processes of the University, including the provision of any such evidence of compliance with the Eligibility Criteria and evidence to demonstrate academic achievement as the University may reasonably require.

Value of Scholarship:
The Reading Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship is valued as £4,000 and will be applied each year the student remains a registered student at the University on the same programme and level of study. 

The Scholarship will be applied as a reduction in tuition fees. It cannot be paid in cash or used to offset any other expense a student may incur at the University (e.g. accommodation fees).

To apply;
i. You will need to have applied and been given an offer (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible course before you can apply for these scholarships. 
  • You do not need to have gone Firm and paid a deposit (if applicable) to apply for these scholarships.
ii. To access the scholarship application, you will need to log in to me@reading which requires your University ID and your date of birth.
  • Scholarships are awarded primarily based on previous academic accomplishment.
