Scholarship Summary:
International students from eligible countries studying on-campus undergraduate and postgraduate courses (excluding preparation courses such as foundation courses, EAP or pre-masters).
These discounts are available to new applicants for 2025/26 entry and those who have yet to make a deposit payment. Please note that certain courses are excluded from this offer.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for the Global Leaders Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be submitting a new application for the 2025/26 academic year
- Be classified as an international student for fee purposes and be from an eligible country (excluded markets highlighted above)
- Meet all academic and English language conditions on application
- Apply for either a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course starting in semester 1 (2025/26 academic year) or semester 2 (2025/26 academic year) at the Sunderland or London Campus
- Firmly accept your offer. You can do this by logging into your e:Vision account.
Value of Scholarship:
The Sunderland Global Leaders Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. £5,000 tuition fee reduction for undergraduate courses
ii. £4,500 tuition fee reduction for postgraduate courses
Scholarship Application Guide:
This is allocated by the University's admissions team, with no separate application required for the fee waiver. Upon receiving your offer from the University, you'll see that the scholarship will have been automatically awarded.
Please note that the Global Leaders Scholarship is available for a limited time and is subject to availability;
- Semester 1 – A tuition fee deposit must be paid by 30 June (for courses starting in September) or 31 July (for courses starting in October).
- Semester 2 – A tuition fee deposit must be paid by 14 November (for courses starting in January) or 12 December (for courses starting in February).
