Scholarship Summary:
As a Catholic university, St John’s support families who are committed to a Catholic education. This scholarship, created in response to a recommendation from the Advisory Board of the university's Institute for Catholic Schools (ICS), is automatically awarded to incoming freshmen (domestic and international) who will be graduating from a Catholic high school and entering St. John’s in the fall.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants;
• Must be graduating from a Catholic high school by June 2025
• Are automatically awarded this scholarship upon freshman admission for the 2025 academic year
• Are first-time freshmen who will be entering St. John’s University
• Must be full-time students (minimum of 12 credits per semester)
Value of Scholarship:
The St. John’s University Catholic School Scholarship provides an annual award of $3,000 for a maximum award of $12,000 over four years of undergraduate study, and can be combined with a merit scholarship.
Award will be renewed for up to four years of undergraduate study as long as recipient remains in good academic standing.
Scholarship Application Guide:
