Scholarship Summary:
The Cougar Commitment Program is WSU’s commitment to making quality education accessible to Washington students from low- to middle-income families. WSU Cougar Commitment has committed to covering tuition and mandatory fees for most Washington residents who could not otherwise afford to attend.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
You can qualify if you;
i. Be awarded a maximum or Calculated Pell Grant or a Washington College Grant based on an MFI (median family income) range of 70% or less;
ii. Have an SAI (Student Aid Index) of $14,000 or less;
iii. File your FAFSA/WASFA by WSU’s priority deadline each year
iv. Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) towards your degree.
Value of Scholarship:
The WSU Cougar Commitment Award covers the tuition cost and mandatory fees annually.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Apply to WSU for admission and enroll as a full-time freshman or transfer student (at least 12 semester credit hours);
iii. Submit financial aid verification documentation if requested by Student Financial Services.
