Scholarship Summary:
International undergraduate scholarships at Youngstown recognize the academic achievements of new, qualified, international undergraduates. These scholarships are automatically awarded to beginning first-year students who have been admitted to the University.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale
Value of Scholarship:
The Youngstown State University international Undergraduate Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Award I: $1,000 per year (Required GPA: 3.0-3.39 GPA)
ii. Award II: $2,500 per year (Required GPA: 3.4-3.69 GPA)
iii. Award III: $4,000 per year (Required GPA: 3.7+ GPA)
iii. Award IV: $5,000 per year (Required: Documented rank of 1st in-class)
Scholarship Application Guide:
This renewable scholarship will be added to your admission automatically for eligible applicants (students do not need to apply separately). After the February 15th priority deadline, scholarships are not guaranteed and subject to the availability of funds.
