Scholarship Summary:
Adams State University automatically awards renewable merit scholarships to undergraduate students (domestic and international) enrolled in on-campus classes. Scholarships are awarded to first-time students based on weighted or unweighted high school GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
These are the eligibility criteria for the merit scholarships;
A. President’s Scholarship
• Incoming first-time students: minimum weighted GPA 3.90
• Continuing students: minimum cumulative GPA 3.90
B. Vice President’s Scholarship
• Incoming first-time students: weighted GPA 3.25 to 3.89
• Continuing students: minimum cumulative GPA 3.25 to 3.89
Value of Scholarship:
The ASU Undergraduate Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. President’s Scholarship: $3,000/year
ii. Vice President’s Scholarship: $1,000 per year
