Scholarship Summary:
Incoming domestic first-year students will be automatically considered for a number of institutional scholarships once they are formally admitted to CSU. These awards do not have to be repaid and are based on a variety of factors, including academic merit and financial need. General scholarship awards are competitive and subject to availability of funds, which may be depleted earlier than the deadline. To ensure consideration, submit your application for admission and all supporting materials as early as possible.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 45% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
CSU’s institutional scholarships are valued as follows;
i. For Ohio freshmen; typically receive up to $24,000 ($6,000/year) and
ii. For non-resident freshmen; may receive up to $34,000 ($8,500/year).
