Scholarship Summary:
The Forté Foundation is a consortium of major corporations and business schools dedicated to increasing the number of women in business. As a community dedicated to diversity and inclusion, it’s no surprise that Simon at Rochester has a strong partnership with the Forté Foundation. Together, talented and civic-minded female MBA students (domestic and international) are rewarded with scholarship awards.
While Simon at Rochester will be responsible for selecting and awarding Forté Fellowships, Forté asks that the following qualifications be considered as the criteria:
i. Exhibit exemplary leadership in one or more of the following: academic leadership, team leadership, community leadership, and creative leadership
ii. Represent a diversity of educational and work backgrounds, career goals, ethnicities, citizenship/nationality, sexual orientation, and gender identities/expression
iii. MBA degree candidate at Forté partner school (full-time, part-time, executive programs, dual degree, or online programs)
iv. Demonstrate a commitment to Forté’s mission of launching women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women
v. Additional requirements may be set by individual schools (for example, alignment with school’s mission or core values)
Academic/experience criteria include;
i. GMAT score of about 690
ii. Average GPA of 3.61
iii. 3 - 5 years working experience
Value of Scholarship:
The Simon Rochester Forté Fellowship awards range from $5,000 per year to full-tuition fellowships.

Scholarship Application Guide:
The process for selecting Forté Fellows is as follows:
i. Student applies to Forté partner school (Simon Business School) for an MBA program
ii. Student receives an offer of admission into Forté partner school's MBA program
iii. Student receives consideration for all scholarship opportunities through that institution. For Rochester, selected applicants will be invited to participate in the Scholarship Weekend.
iv. Partner school selects its Forté Fellows
v. Partner school notifies Forté of its selections
